The value for money at Sophie'S Hostel was excellent, with a large and fully equipped apartment-like single room. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from Narodni museum and the metro, making it easy to explore the city. The staff were helpful and the air conditioning in the room was super effective.
The only minor issue I had was with the morning meal. It would have been great if the eggs were available all the time, rather than upon request.

I recently had a fantastic stay at this hotel in a great area. The hotel staff were friendly and knowledgeable, providing excellent tips and maps for exploring the city. The design of the hotel was impressive, with attention to detail and clean, high-quality facilities. The beds were comfortable, and I especially appreciated having my own private kitchen in the room. Additionally, the breakfast buffet was incredible, offering a wide variety of tasty options to start the day.
Everything was exceptional, no improvements needed.

Sophie's Hostel exceeded my expectations in many ways. the value for money was exceptional - the prices were very reasonable considering the quality of the accommodations. Secondly, the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, always willing to help with any queries or requests. Lastly, the location of the hostel was superb - situated in a great area, it was within walking distance of many attractions and public transport links. The rooms were also well-equipped, with coffee and tea facilities on the top floor, and no bunk beds in the dormitories. Additionally, the breakfast was delicious and offered a variety of options to suit all tastes.
Everything was okay, no improvements needed.

A lot of thought and work went into the way our apartment looked - great paintings on the wall, high ceilings and a good colour scheme. The free internet access in the reception was helpful - as were the staff, especially when we were stuck getting home with the volcano ash!

The location of the hostel is perfect, with easy access to tram stops and the metro. There are plenty of nice restaurants nearby, away from the tourist trap areas. the rooms are clean and comfortable, with well-appointed bathrooms. the staff is friendly and helpful. the breakfast buffet is good, and the bar area has a great vibe, especially during the cheap happy hour.
One negative aspect is that the doors can be loud when opened, which may disturb sleeping guests.

We were most impressed with both the two bed unit, which we had originally requested, but were absolutely delighted to be able to be upgraded to an apartment as we found it modern, large, relaxing and wonderful to be able to return to and cook ourselves and have the kitchen facilities it offers (well equiped) after a long day of sightseeing.
Not really...perhaps that there was not the ability to use a printer directly from the computers, although this was not too much of an issue, except I felt we were interrupting the staff when we emailed to Miss Sophies in order to have our emails printed out. The fact that we were able to use the computers free of charge was fantastic.
